Bible Study Group

There are two (2) Bible Study groups here at First United Church.  Both are led by Rev. Dr. Wayne Cole.  The study of each week's lectionary is usually followed.

Meeting times are:

Thursday 10 A.M. - Room 2 - followed by social time

Thursday 7:30 P.M. - Room 2

We sit within our circle

A meeting of the Spirit

To join and ponder God's word

We're proud to read and h ear it.

We seek for understanding

We learn, discuss and share

Our lives and minds are opened

With the words that are printed here.

Our hearts are in communion

Connected through His Grace

Because there are two or more of us

Gathered in this place.

We lift our hopes for others

For those less fortunate

In this Holy Advent season

We pray, and give, and wait.

For the day that shines forever

Like the star bright as the morn

To celebrate together

that "God-with-us" was born.
